Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 1, 2026

This policy covers the Enablement mobile application for Android and iOS, published by Advent Business Company Inc. It explains what the app collects, why, who it goes to, and how to have it deleted.

Enablement is a business application. You use it through an account issued by your employer or another organization that licenses the platform. That organization controls your account and the records you create in it.

What the app collects

Account and identity

  • Your username, which is normally your work email address
  • The identifier of the organization whose workspace you sign in to
  • Your password, sent to the authentication server when you sign in

Device and connection

Every request the app makes to our servers carries:

  • Your device’s public IP address
  • Operating system type (Android or iOS)
  • Device class (phone or tablet)
  • Your time zone offset, used to display dates in your local time

Location

If you grant location permission, the app reads your device’s latitude and longitude and sends them with each request to our servers, where they are recorded against your activity. This supports access auditing and fraud detection.

You can refuse or revoke location permission in your device settings. The app continues to work; it sends zero coordinates instead.

Content you provide

Depending on which features your organization has enabled, the app handles:

  • Files you upload to secured storage, and files shared with you
  • Messages and attachments you send through secure email
  • Data you enter into forms, including signatures you draw
  • Photos and videos you choose from your library, or capture with the camera
  • Barcodes and QR codes you scan with the camera
  • Voice input, when you use speech-to-text. Audio is converted to text by your device’s own speech recognition service.

Nearby devices

The app can connect to nearby Bluetooth accessories, such as a barcode scanner or a printer, when a feature you are using needs one. Android asks your permission the first time. We use this only to talk to the accessory. We do not build a record of the devices around you, and nothing about them is sent to our servers.

Biometrics

If you enable fingerprint or face unlock, your device performs the match and reports only success or failure. Biometric data never leaves your device and we never receive it.

What the app does not do

  • No advertising, and no advertising identifiers
  • No third-party analytics or tracking software
  • We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising

Who receives your data

Data goes to the Enablement platform servers operated by Advent Business Company Inc, and to the organization that issued your account. Administrators at that organization can see the records you create and the activity logged against your account.

The app makes one request to a third-party service, api.ipify.org, to learn the device’s public IP address. That service receives the IP address and nothing else.

We disclose data to law enforcement or other authorities only when legally required.

Why we collect it

  • To run the service: account identity, the content you create, and the organization you belong to
  • To sign you in and keep the account secure: credentials and session tokens
  • To audit access and detect misuse: IP address, location, device type, and timestamps recorded against your activity

How it is protected

Traffic between the app and our servers uses TLS. The app is configured to refuse unencrypted connections. Access is restricted to your own organization’s workspace.

How long we keep it

Account records and the content you create are retained while your account is active, and afterwards for as long as the organization that issued your account requires, or as the law requires. Audit records are retained for the period that organization’s compliance obligations set.

Deleting your data

Your account is created and owned by the organization that issued it — your employer, or the agency you work with. Individuals cannot open an Enablement account for themselves, and for the same reason we cannot delete one at an individual’s request: the records belong to that organization, not to us.

To have your account and the records attached to it removed, contact your organization’s administrator. Our account deletion page explains the route in full, and what is kept.

If your organization has stopped using Enablement and you cannot reach an administrator, write to us at the address below and we will tell you who controls the records.

Children

Enablement is a workplace application and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to how it is used. Write to us at the address below and we will respond.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
